Children's Ministry Director

Johanna Burgess served as the Children’s Ministry Director at The Chapel since 2020. Her heart is to see young lives changed in ways that reflect God's goodness and power. Since 2001, Johanna has received multiple certifications and specialized training in child development, combined with 10+ years both in the classroom and management. In 2019 she graduated from Crossing Cultures International Bible Training Centre for Pastors, and she brings 8+ years of combined service in similar roles at two other churches in Florida prior to being called to The Chapel. She is married to Hootie, and they have two boys - Brendan and Luke. With his support & God's guidance, we homeschool both of our boys.
